FAQ

Is Pool Tile Dr., LLC licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes, Pool Tile Dr., LLC is licensed, bonded and insured. Arizona ROC# 321951.

How do you clean the pool tile, pebble tec, rock, stone and brick?

We utilize our state-of-the-art blasting technology to safely remove the scale and calcium deposits from the pool tile. Unlike some of the other companies that utilize high pressure blasting techniques, coupled with non-eco-friendly media and chemicals such as glass beads, soda and acids to clean your surface, Pool Tile Dr. uses a low-pressure technology combined with an eco-friendly blast media that will not harm or damage the surface we are cleaning. The blast media we use is magnesium sulphate (salt). The media is pH-neutral and will not alter or affect your swimming pools chemistry when we are finished with our cleaning process.

What causes that unsightly white build-up on my pool tile, pebble tec, rock, stone and brick?

The white stubborn stain that begins to accumulate on your pool tile, pebble tec, rock, stone and brick is called scale or calcium, and is primarily caused by pool water that is out of balance (hardness level). Contributing factors include suntan lotions, body oils, minerals, waterborne pollutants, airborne pollutants and bacteria.

Is your cleaning process safe to use around people, pets and vegetation?

Absolutely! Our dry mineral blasting process is non-hazardous, bio-degradable and eco-friendly. We don’t use any chemicals during the cleaning process.

How long will the cleaning process take?

Depending on the size of your pool and the amount of scale or calcium buildup, our process typically takes between 3-4 hours to complete.

Does my pool have to be drained for you to do your work?

Our cleaning process does not require the draining of your pool. We only have to drain enough water from your pool to expose the blasting surface (typically 6-8 inches). However, if you have not drained your pool in 2 years or more, we recommend the draining of your pool at the time of our service.

How long will the results last?

The length of time between cleanings is a direct correlation between your pool water chemistry maintenance and also the hardness level of your pool water. Typically you will not need another cleaning for 1-2 years.

How do I pay for the service?

We accept cash or credit cards at the time of service.

When will I be able to use my pool again?

You will be able to use your pool immediately after our cleaning process is completed since we don’t use harsh chemicals that are hazardous to your health. However, the pool will appear cloudy at first until the water is filtered through your cleaning system. Your pool should be back to a clear state within 24 hours.

What differentiates your company from other pool tile cleaning companies?

We spent a considerable amount of time conducting research related to the best methodologies for cleaning pool tile, pebble tec, rock, stone and brick. As a result, we developed an extremely effective (best in the business) innovative blasting system that utilizes magnesium sulfate (salt) and low air pressure (low PSI). Our gentle but effective scale and calcium removal process achieves remarkable results without the risks, mess and excessive noise associated with high-powered pressure washing. We also utilize a portable pump and filter for cleaning up the excess salt after the cleaning process is complete. We take great pride in making sure we take our time doing the best job we possibly can during both the cleaning process and the clean up process. We are not satisfied until you are!
